Plot Synopsis

DATELINE: SECRETS UNCOVERED explores chilling stories through first-hand accounts, told by those closest to the issue, including investigators entrusted with cracking the case and the families confronting tragedy. In "House on the Lake," the series premiere of this spinoff of DATELINE NBC, a mom suddenly vanishes and a dad is under suspicion, but there was no body, weapon or eyewitness, and surprises cropped up along the way. Now, after all the twists and turns of four murder trials, the final verdict is in.

A new season of DATELINE: SECRETS UNCOVERED premiered on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on Oxygen. In the season opener, "The Devil in Disguise," Frank Rodriguez, a Navy veteran who dedicated his life to helping needy children, is mysteriously murdered, and investigators need to figure out how he died to catch his killer.
