Plot Synopsis

DAD ON BOARD is a half-hour reality series that follows YouTube sensation J.D. Witherspoon, and his father, legendary entertainer John Witherspoon, as they travel across America and go off the beaten path to uncover unlikely adventures and unexpected history. On Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:30am ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Al Capone's Vacation Hideaway," J.D. and John visit Hayward, WI, and participate in the Lumberjack World Championships and try to set a fishing record.
