Plot Synopsis

Host Eric Stromer does the unthinkable -- he takes things we see every day and cuts them in half to learn how they really work and to see what's inside. The series also uses computer graphics and field tests to see these items in action. Not only does Eric cut through a Boeing 727, but he splits open everything from a tire to a cockpit door to a passenger window to the seats. And when uses a giant band saw to cut open a fire truck, Eric also takes a look at a 50-ft hydraulic ladder, a 600-gallon water tank and a high-powered water pump.
