Plot Synopsis

Within the walls of an interrogation room and with time running out, London investigators go after three suspects, each accused of a grievous crime. Each episode of this anthology crime series focuses on a different suspect. On Friday, September 20, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released three episodes of CRIMINAL: UNITED KINGDOM, which is one of four parts of the CRIMINAL franchise. Episodes in Season 1 of the UK installment of the CRIMINAL franchise include:

"Edgar": As time runs out, interrogators turn up the heat on a stone-faced doctor suspected of sexually assaulting and slaying his teenage stepdaughter.

"Stacey": With a shadowy colleague looking on, the team starts poking holes in the evolving story of a combative suspect accused of poisoning her brother-in-law.

"Jay": The team badgers a reticent truck driver to locate an abandoned trailer full of immigrants, but a new interrogator's poor decision jeopardizes it all.

The four-episode second season of CRIMINAL: UNITED KINGDOM premiered on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Seeking answers inside the interview room, investigators question suspects over new confounding cases, including alleged rape, abduction and murder:

"Julia": Called in one by one on a Sunday, the team risks a legal entanglement when a routine interview with a convicted killer's wife takes a provocative turn.

"Alex": With scarce evidence to guide them, the investigators question an arrogant businessman accused of rape by a woman who works for him.

"Danielle": Asking increasingly pointed questions, the team tries to crack a zealous defense put forth by the head of an online group that unmasks sexual predators.

"Sandeep": Confronted with a shrewd convicted killer wanting to cut a deal, the investigators gamble on calling in a disgraced former colleague to help.
