Plot Synopsis

Each year since 1967, the Country Music Association (CMA) has annually honored the best in country music. The first ceremony, then known as the CMA AWARDS BANQUET AND SHOW, was held in 1967, and the CMA AWARDS were broadcast the following year for the first time by NBC. NBC telecast the event for four years, with CBS taking over for a 34-year run from 1972-2005. The CMA AWARDS have aired on ABC since 2006.
