Plot Synopsis

Each year since 1967, the Country Music Association (CMA) has annually honored the best in country music. The first ceremony, then known as the CMA AWARDS BANQUET AND SHOW, was held in 1967, and the CMA AWARDS were broadcast the following year for the first time by NBC. NBC telecast the event for four years, with CBS taking over for a 34-year run from 1972-2005. The CMA AWARDS have aired on ABC since 2006.
The 51st Annual CMA AWARDS airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on ABC on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 8-11pm ET (live)/8-11pm PT (tape delay). Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood preside over the evening, returning as hosts for the tenth consecutive year. Scheduled performers include: Kelsea Ballerini & Reba McEntire, Dierks Bentley & Rascal Flatts, Maren Morris & Niall Horan, Brad Paisley & Kane Brown, as well as Garth Brooks, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, P!NK, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and an All-Star Group Performance featuring Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban.

THE CMA AWARDS: ALL ACCESS offers viewers exclusive access to Country Music's Biggest Night. Country music artist and previous two-time CMA Awards nominee Kellie Pickler and television personality Ben Aaron, Kelly Sutton and country music artist Clayton Anderson are hosting this year's show, which streams globally, exclusively on, beginning with the red-carpet stream at 6pm ET/3pm PT. on Wednesday, November 8.
