Plot Synopsis

After a hacker begins releasing students' most intimate secrets to the whole school, social order at El Colegio Nacional is turned upside down. Popular kids become bullied, outcasts gain status, and everyone is a suspect. Sofia, a social recluse and know-it-all with a penchant for deduction, must race against the clock to catch the hacker before he releases more secrets. Along the way, she will learn to make friends, have empathy for others, and she might even fall in love. Netflix released the eight-episode first season of CONTROL Z on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

The entire eight-episode second season of CONTROL Z dropped on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 on Netflix. In the season opener, "You Can't Bury the Past," an anonymous person seeks vengeance on behalf of Luis and starts targeting students and teachers at the high school. Sofia must solve the first mystery in order to save two classmates before it's too late. Then, when a certain someone returns to school, chaos breaks out. Natalia rushes to solve her financial dilemma. The search for the avenger heats up.

Season 3 of CONTROL Z debuted on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, as Netflix released the entire eight-episode new season. Sofia and her friends try to move on in their senior year, but an unidentified hacker with a familiar account makes life difficult for them. In the season opener, "Did You Think I Would Forget About You?," a hacker has returned to torment the students with their secrets -- and homes in on a night Sofia, Javi and friends would much rather put behind them.
