Plot Synopsis

CONTINENT 7: ANTARCTICA is the first-ever long-form documentary series in history to film in the world's most hostile environment, where temperature drop to 100 degrees below zero, winds gust over 200mph, storms bury entire buildings and despite all that frozen water, the air is as dry as the Sahara in places. Humans aren't meant to survive here, yet there is a community of rugged individuals whose work puts them in the path of all these challenges. These people play a vital role in many urgent fields of science, from climate change to studies of glacier movement, active volcanoes and the search and tagging of marine megafauna that calls this ice home.
