Plot Synopsis

In this web series, Jerry Seinfeld sits down for one-on-one, intimate conversations with iconic comedians. Each episode, which ranges from 6 to 25 minutes in duration, features Jerry driving a single guest in a classic car so they can grab a cup of coffee at a different local diner. Along the way, they discuss their lives, careers, and the comedy world. The first three seasons featured comedy legends like Jason Alexander, Alec Baldwin, Todd Barry, Mel Brooks, Louis CK, Larry David, Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Wayne Knight, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Seth Meyers, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman and Howard Stern, and more.

COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE returned for its fourth season on Thursday, June 19, 2014, as Jerry Seinfeld grabs a cup of joe with George Wallace, Aziz Ansari, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert Klein and Jon Stewart in the new season.

On Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Noon ET/9am PT, Crackle and released the Season 5 premiere of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE with Kevin Hart. Subsequent guests in Season 5 include: Jimmy Fallon, Amy Schumer, Fred Armisen, Miranda Sings, Bill Burr and Ali Wentworth.

COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE returned for its sixth season on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 11:30pm ET/8:30pm PT at Season 6 guests include Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and Trevor Noah.

Season 7 of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE premiered on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:30pm ET/8:30pm PT on, with President Barack Obama as the first guest of the six-episode new season. The episode with President Obama was shot at the White House earlier the same month, and features both the President and Seinfeld driving a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, and talking about life in the White House over coffee. Other Season 7 guests include Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalco.

Crackle released the eighth season of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE on Thursday, June 16, 2016. In the Season 8 premiere, Jerry is joined by stand-up comic Jim Gaffigan, as the duo rides around in a 1977 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Bus and enjoys pastrami together at the 2nd Avenue Deli. Additional Season 8 will be released on subsequent Thursdays, featuring guests like Judd Apatow, John Oliver, Lorne Michaels, Margaret Cho, and JB Smoove.

Season 9 of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE premiered on Thursday, January 5, 2017 on Crackle and, with a season opener that features Kristen Wiig and a Volvo. Other guests in the ninth season include: Norm Macdonald, Cedric the Entertainer, Lewis Black, Bob Einstein (aka Super Dave Osborne) and Christoph Waltz.

On Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released 58 (of 60) episodes from the first nine seasons that had previously debuted on Crackle. (Episodes featuring Louis C.K. and George Costanza & Newman were not included.) The episodes are no longer arranged by season, but instead each one is listed in one of four categories -- First Cup; Light & Sweet; Just Made a Fresh Pot; and Late Night Espresso -- which each category having episodes from multiple seasons.

On Friday, July 6, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 12-episode tenth season of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE. This season, Jerry Seinfeld takes a ride with 12 comedy heavyweights, including Zach Galifianakis, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Tracy Morgan, Brian Regan, Dana Carvey, Hasan Minhaj, Neal Brennan, John Mulaney, Kate McKinnon, Alec Baldwin, and Jerry Lewis.
Netflix released an additional 12 episodes of COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the first episode, "Eddie Murphy: I Just Wanted To Kill," Jerry picks up Eddie Murphy in a Porsche Carrera GT for a wide-ranging conversation about Eddie's career and coming up together in late-'70s New York. Other guests in this batch of episodes include: Seth Rogen, Ricky Gervais (in a two-part episode), Matthew Broderick, Jamie Foxx, Sebastian Maniscalco, Martin Short, Mario Joyner, Melissa Villasenor, Bridget Everett, and Barry Marder.
