Plot Synopsis

Each episode features four new strangers -- or five strangers, depending on the season -- who each take turns at hosting a dinner party. Each believes they have what it takes to woo their guests and hopes their unique style will clinch them the title of best host. In addition to cooking, there's also a large helping of reality on the menu as the rival hosts snoop around each others' houses, criticize each other's choices and go to great lengths to win the competition. At the end of each party, the host is judged by their guests and scored out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the episode wins a cash prize. COME DINE WITH ME premiered in the United States on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 9pm ET/PT on BBC America.
