Plot Synopsis

In the 1940s and 1950s in Perth, Western Australia, two very different rural families share a house together after suffering separate catastrophes. After the Lamb family nearly loses their son, Fish, in a drowning accident, they decide to relocate to start over. They end up sharing a house with the Pickles family, who are recovering from the death of a relative and a boating accident that leaves the father out of work with no way to support his family. Living together in the same house at No. 1 Cloudstreet, these two families share numerous tragedies and triumphs that draw them closer together. Ovation aired the U.S. premiere of CLOUDSTREET on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10pm ET, and showed episodes each Saturday through June 2.
