Plot Synopsis

CLOSE-UP KINGS is a one-hour magic/travel series that follows three best friends -- Magick Balay, Loki, and Johnny Blaze -- who also happen to be top sleight-of-hand artists, as they travel across North America. In each city, the trio take on different challenges that reflect the culture, lifestyle and personality of that destination, including NYC, Miami, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Toronto. Plus, they attempt to outperform each other, orchestrating artfully executed capers and tricks that become more complex as the stakes get higher -- from rearranging the print on a dollar bill, to making a cell phone disappear and reappear in a fountain, to performing an amazing Houdini-style jail escape in front of a crowd. Syfy aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT.
