Plot Synopsis

Serene suburban living faces off against bustling city life in this half-hour series. Homebuyers looking to put down roots weigh the pros and cons of each lifestyle. Will dazzling nightlife and trendy restaurants make up for less square footage? Or will rolling lawns and spacious floorplans outweigh a lengthy commute? These families must decide what they're willing to compromise before deciding where to call "home." On Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Sounds of the Country in Music City," Antonio and Mariah are stoked to upgrade their lives by settling down in a perfect new home in Nashville. Before they can plant their roots, however, they must decide between the festive allure of downtown and the serene, tree-lined streets of the nearby suburbs.
