Plot Synopsis

During two seasons on LOVE & HIP HOP, Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones experienced a tumultuous period of their relationship, but after eight years of courtship, two emotional proposals, and a sparkling ring on her finger, are Chrissy and Jim really ready to get hitched? CHRISSY & MR. JONES follows the couple as they navigate their way through commitment, drama, friendships, the music industry, fertility and family -- all while working toward wedded bliss. Chrissy is at a crossroads in her life, but she's ready to step out of Jim's shadow and establish herself away from his credit line and pursue her own professional endeavors in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, Jim is diligently working on his own career. After continued success with his Dipset crew and his Diplomat record label, Jim's clothing lines Vampire Life and Protocol are sold around the globe. Joining them on their journey are: 'Mama' Jones, who wants to launch her own perfume line fragrantly named PumKash and whostill finds time to hassle Chrissy and Jim about certain issues in their relationship, especially a baby; Emily Bustamante, Chrissy's good friend and main confidante from LOVE & HIP HOP, who is back on her grind working as a celebrity stylist and is also back with longtime love rapper Fabolous; and Talia Coles, fashion stylist to hip-hop royalty like Trey Songz, who is joining forces with Team Chrissy but dreams of being the next big R&B singer.
Season 2 debuted on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT on VH1, as Chrissy and Jim resolved to take the pressure off of marriage for the time being and welcomed Jim's son, Joseph 'Pudie' Jones Jr., home for the summer. During the new season, the Lampkin/Jones household changes as Chrissy takes on a stepmom role and Jim tries to teach Pudie important lessons of the street, while working hard to turn his clothing line into a successful family business. Plus, Mama Jones is looking to launch a million schemes.
