Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Ted Allen, CHOPPED: IMPOSSIBLE is a four-part tournament that features RESTAURANT: IMPOSSIBLE's Robert Irvine on the judging panel and as a competitor in the finale. Twelve returning CHOPPED champs face mind-blowing baskets of ingredients during the three preliminary rounds, with four different cheftestants competing in each episode. The three winners from the prelims advance to the finale, where one wins $15,000 and the chance to throw down in a wild-card round against Chef Robert. If the last chef standing can beat Robert, they stand to win $25,000 more, for a total of $40,000. The judging panel for this tournament includes these CHOPPED judges: Maneet Chauhan, Scott Conant, Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Aaron Sanchez, Chris Santos and Geoffrey Zakarian.

On Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the season finale of CHOPPED: IMPOSSIBLE. After winning their preliminary rounds of the tournament, three champions -- Marc Anthony Bynum, James Major, and Emily Chapman -- return to battle for $15,000 and the chance to go head-to-head with Chef Robert Irvine to take home an additional $25,000! In the appetizer round, the competitors must overcome a giant clam and a fast-food classic, and then just two chefs compete in the entree round, tackling a nostalgic canned product and a strange sandwich. After a remarkable winning streak, the only thing standing between the last Chopped Champion and the grand prize is a spectacular wild card battle with Robert.
