Plot Synopsis
Using the perspective of female military personnel and civilian women, primarily through the eyes of Army nurse Colleen McMurphy, CHINA BEACH explores life at the 510th Evacuation Hospital during the Vietnam War. This scripted drama series follows doctors, nurses, officers, soldiers and volunteers living and working at My Khe beach, nicknamed China Beach, in the city of Da Nang, as well as locations in the United States when these women returned home during leave or when their tours of duty ended.
