Plot Synopsis

Mike Catherwood hosts the newest version of the classic half-hour game show CHAIN REACTION, which features teams competing against one another to complete a chain of words after the first and last words of the chain are revealed. Each word in the chain is related in some way to the word directly above and/or below it. By making inferences based on the revealed words and the revealed letters in incomplete words, contestants try to fill in the word chains to score points. Teams accumulate cash winnings in three rounds of play, and the team with the most money advances to the final round, where the contestants have 45 seconds to solve one last chain for the chance to earn an additional $5,000.
