Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Steve Harvey and taped in front of a live studio audience in Los Angeles, each episode of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD features two celebrity families as they compete against each other to win money for charity. Each team is made up of a celebrity captain with four relatives or friends playing along, and the winning celebrity team is given a chance to win up to $25,000 to donate to a charity of their choice. The celebrity captains are: Monica Potter vs. Curtis Stone; Anthony Anderson vs. Toni Braxton; NFL Players from the AFC vs. NFL Players from the NFC; Karina Smirnoff vs. Sean Lowe; Dr. Phil McGraw vs. Penny & Garry Marshall; Kevin McHale vs. Fred Willard; Niecy Nash vs. Cheryl Hines; Katy Mixon vs. Willie Robertson; Rob Gronkowski vs. Holly Robinson Peete; Keke Palmer vs. Bill Engvall; Mario Lopez vs. Joey Lawrence; Ed Asner vs. Vicki Lawrence.

On Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premiered the second season of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, with Steve Harvey returning as host for another season of celebrities playing the game for their charities. The season opener featured the families from award-winning country music recording artist Kellie Pickler; and Lance Bass, member of the multi-platinum pop boy band *NSYNC. In a separate game, family members from NeNe Leakes, star of ABC's updated version of TO TELL THE TRUTH, competes against the family of actor Ernie Hudson. Subsequent episodes feature: AFC Defense vs NFC Offense; AFC Offense vs. NFC Defense; Snoop Dogg vs. Sugar Ray Leonard; Laila Ali vs. George Hamilton; Cheryl Hines vs. Niecy Nash; DUCK DYNASTY vs Katy Mixon; and many more celebrities and their families.

ABC premiered the third season of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT. In the season opener, the celebrity teams competing to win cash for their charities feature the families and friends from Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Kelly Clarkson; and award-winning comedian, writer, producer and actress Amy Schumer. In a separate game, family members from Australian conservationist and DANCING WITH THE STARS Season 21 Mirrorball winner, Bindi Irwin, will take on the family of actress Chrissy Metz, best known for her TV role in THIS IS US. Later in the season, these other celebrity family teams will be playing for charity: actor/comedian George Lopez, NBA basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, actress/director/producer Eva Longoria, actress Jennie Garth and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. For the first time, members from host Steve Harvey's family will also join in the fun.

Season 4 of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD premiered on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, with Steve Harvey returning as host. The season opener features Team Kardashian vs. Team West, with the Kardashians (Kris Jenner; Mary Jo Shannon; Khloe Kardashian; Kendall Jenner; Cici Bussey; Jonathan Cheban) playing for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Wests (Kanye West; Kim Kardashian West; Kim Wallace; Jalil Peraza; Ricky Anderson) playing for the same charity. Other celebrity family teams that will be playing for charity this season include the following: Stephen Curry vs. Chris Paul, Ice T and Coco vs. Vivica A. The fifth season of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD premiered on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, with Steve Harvey returning as host. The season opener features John Legend and Chrissy Teigen vs. the Cast of VANDERPUMP RULES: Team Teigen/Legend (John Legend; Chrissy Teigen; Ron Stephens; Pepper Teigen; Tina Teigen) vs. Team VANDERPUMP RULES (Lisa Vanderpump; Tom Sandoval; Ariana Madix; Tom Schwartz; Katie Maloney-Schwartz). The sixth season of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD premiered on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, with Steve Harvey returning as host. In the season opener, "Queer Eye: OG vs. Queer Eye: The New Class," the OG guys (Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, and Jai Rodriguez) play for The Trevor Project, while taking on The New Class (Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Wesley Hamilton), who are playing for GLSEN. The fall premiere features a big funny faceoff between two legendary daytime show hosts when Kathie Lee Gifford competes against Ricki Lake. In the next game, rappers 2 Chainz and Big Boi go head-to-head to test their skills.

Season 7 of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD premiered on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, with Steve Harvey returning as host. In the season opener, Team Rob Lowe takes on Team Terrence Howard. CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD and host Steve Harvey returned for their eighth seasons on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. In the season opener, "Abbott Elementary vs. Hacks and Kal Penn vs. Erika Christensen," the cast from ABBOTT ELEMENTARY plays against the cast of HACKS, led by actress Jean Smart, where they compete to win money for their respective charities. In the next game, actor Kal Penn goes head-to-head with actor Erika Christensen to see who comes out on top. On Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT, ABC premiered the ninth season of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, with Steve Harvey returning as host. In the season opener, the cast of YELLOWJACKETS led by Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty battle it out, followed by Gayle King taking on Sophia Bush Hughes to see who will win the grand prize for their selected charities. In the first game, both Team Yellowjackets (Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey, Warren Kole, Tawney Cypress, Lauren Ambrose) and Team Young Yellowjackets (Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Nelisse, Courtney Eaton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Kevin Alves) play for GLAAD. In the episode's second game, Team Gayle King (Gayle King, Will Bumpus, Kirby Bumpus, Virgil Miller, Mekenzye Schwab) plays for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), while Team Sophia Bush Hughes (Sophia Bush Hughes, Nia Batts, Colleen Ryan, Amy Fahey, Wes Felix) tries to win cash for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan.

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premieres the "Rosie O'Donnell vs. Billy Porter" episode of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD. Hosted by Steve Harvey, this special holiday episode filled with surprises and cheer, features teams led by Rosie O'Donnell and Billy Porter as they battle it out to see who will win the grand prize for their selected charities.
