Plot Synopsis

In this documentary series, the investigators behind infamous serial killer cases reveal the harrowing, chilling details of their extraordinary efforts. All four 40-minute episodes of CATCHING KILLLERS' first season dropped on Thursday, November 4, 2021 on Netflix:

"Body Count: The Green River Killer": The unsolved murders of women around Green River near Seattle haunt investigators for decades -- until crime scene science finally catches up.

"Manhunter: Aileen Wuornos": A serial killer's deadly road trip through Florida in 1990 leaves several men dead and spurs investigators to go undercover for an unexpected suspect.

"True Lies: The Happy Face Killer (Part 1)": Odd suspects, questionable confessions and ever-shifting stories confuse detectives in the hunt for a young Oregon woman's killer in the early 1990s.

"True Lies: The Happy Face Killer (Part 2)": A consequential letter surfaces with stirring claims and upends the seemingly closed case, calling into question the guilt of the convicted criminals.

CATCHING KILLERS returned for its second season on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, as Netflix released the entire four-episode new season:

"Bind. Torture. Kill: BTK": A terrifying Kansas serial killer reemerges after 30 years. Using DNA technology and help from the media, investigators race to prevent another murder.

"Thrill Kills: The Phoenix Serial Shooter": A serial shooter targets random pedestrians on the Phoenix streets, leading detectives on a desperate hunt for a criminal driven to kill for sport.

"Missing Men: The Toronto Village Killer (Part 1)": After multiple gay men sharing similar features go missing in Toronto, detectives follow an international tip with horrific claims of cannibalism.

"Missing Men: The Toronto Village Killer (Part 2)": As more men vanish, a fresh task force assembles. New surveillance footage and recovered computer files provide a final chance to identify the killer.

The entire four-episode third season of CATCHING KILLERS dropped on Friday, June 23, 2023 on Netflix:

"End of the Line: The Railroad Killer": Dubbed "The Railroad Killer," a man hops trains to his victims' homes, bludgeoning them, helping himself to their food -- and evading police for years.

"Night Terror: New York Zodiac Killer": In the '90s, a killer in New York selects his victims based on their birth signs. Can the cops catch him before he attacks all 12 symbols of the zodiac?

"Manhunt: The Olympic Park Bomber": A deadly bomb explodes at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. But as FBI agents investigate subsequent attacks, they realize they've also become targets.

"Trained to Kill: The DC Sniper": In 2002, a sniper shoots six victims in a Washington suburb, linking him to a spree that resulted in one of the largest manhunts in American history.
