Plot Synopsis

In this four-hour event docuseries, the original investigators of the JonBenet Ramsey case, one of the highest profile unsolved murders in recent history, unite to re-examine the tragic case 20 years later. The team re-examine crucial evidence using advanced technology and forensics, meticulously re-create the crime scene by rebuilding full-scale replicas of key rooms from the Ramsey house, conduct extensive interviews, and introduce new theories. The original investigators include former New York City prosecutor, retired FBI supervisory special agent and profiler Jim Clemente; world-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee; former chief investigator for the District Attorney in Boulder, Colo., James Kolar; leading forensic pathologist Dr. Werner Spitz; and retired FBI supervisory special agent and forensic linguistic profiler James Fitzgerald. New experts reviewing the case include former New Scotland Yard criminal behavioral analyst Laura Richards and retired FBI supervisory special agent and statement analyst Stan Burke. Originally scheduled as a six-hour series airing over three nights, CBS shorted THE CASE OF: JONBENET RAMSEY to a four-hour series just days before it premiered. The series aired in in two, two-hour episodes on Sunday, September 18 from 8:30-10:30pm ET/PT; and Monday, September 19 from 9-11pm.
