Plot Synopsis

Set in a secret location deep in the wilderness, 12 CUTTHROAT KITCHEN alumni face off in a five-part tournament, as they compete for a grand prize up to $75,000. In each of the first four episodes, three chefs -- instead of the customary four contestants in the regular version of CUTTHROAT KITCHEN -- compete against each other in a typical CUTTHROAT format that focuses on the outdoors, and the winner of each episode advances to the four-chef finals in the fifth episode, where a winner is crowned. With extreme tug-of-war and canteen cooking to battles in the camp lake, only the contestants with the strongest culinary chops and sabotage skills will survive these great outdoors-themed culinary challenges and make it to the end of camp. Competitors include: Ruddy Bello (Boston), Emmanuel Delcour (Los Angeles) & Monterey Salka (Savannah, GA); Robyn Almodovar (Miami), Jack Taylor (San Diego) & Candice Wilson (Los Angeles); Clay Carnes (Wellington, FL), Hop Phan (Santa Ana, CA) & Jessica Entzel (San Francisco); and Trevor Ball (Dallas), Demarco Ellis (Lancaster, CA) & Emily Ellyn (Orlando). This series returned for its second season -- CAMP CUTTHROAT 2: ALTON'S REVENGE -- on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network. This year's five-episode battle is set even deeper in the wilderness, with a roster of sixteen chef contestants competing in all-new diabolical camp-themed challenges for the chance to win up to $75,000. Competitors for the second cycle include: Willie Box (East Point, Georgia), Vincent Purcell (Long Island, New York), Rue Rusike (San Diego, California), Kate Von Schledorn (San Diego, California); Greg Akahoshi (La Crescenta, California), Terry Matthews (Phoenix, Arizona), Mike Minor (Las Vegas, Nevada), Razia Sabour (Atlanta, Georgia); Daniel Angerer (Brooklyn, New York), Sidney Blackwell (Atlanta, Georgia), Aaron Crumbaugh (Spokane, Washington), Ulka Mohanty (Los Angeles, California); and Emilia Cirker (Reston, Virginia), Niko Scimone (Nashville, Tennessee), Michael Gabriel (Houston, Texas), Kenneth Thornhill (Paris, Texas).
