Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Duff Goldman, CAKE-OFF is a one-hour series during which four bakers battle it out over two rounds for a chance to win $10,000 and title of Cake-Off Champion. On Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Beast to Beauty," the bakers compete in the first round, where they must use one ugly ingredient and one pretty ingredient to make a delicious themed cake. Then the remaining three bakers have five days in their home bakeries to engineer a monster cake that transforms from beast to beauty in front of the judges: Waylynn Lucas and Dan Langan.
