Plot Synopsis

From a double-decker party boat to a floating playground to even a dock with a built-in swimming pool, in this half-hour series brothers Kevin and Andrew are dreaming up and building everything needed for an epic weekend of fun. After years of designing one-of-a-kind projects at their own getaway retreat, they're turning it up a notch by hitting the road and taking their cool and creative ideas to families in need of vacation property upgrades. BUILT FOR THE WEEKEND premiered on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as GAC debuted back-to-back episodes:

"Fun Floating Playground" (9pm): The Steeves family calls on brothers Kevin and Andrew to find a solution to their lack of kid-friendly play areas at their rustic lakeside cabin. The brothers have just one week to design, construct and launch a double-decker water park in the middle of the lake, jam-packed with everything this family could ever need for fun in the sun.

"Rustic Riverside A-Frame Cabin Retreat" (9:30pm): The Schiefer family owns a beautiful parcel of land with a picturesque river, but their stays are limited due to its lack of any freestanding structures. Hoping to unlock the potential of their dream getaway, they entrust brothers Andrew and Kevin to come up with a rustic A-frame cabin that will turn camping into glamping. The brothers have just one week to convert this vacant lot into a riverside retreat with all the creature comforts of home.

Three days later -- on Thursday, March 15 -- the series had its Canadian premiere at 8pm ET/PT on Cottage Life.
