Plot Synopsis

Twelve brides-to-be compete against each other for the chance to win plastic surgery and the opportunity to make their wedding day the ultimate event of a lifetime. Each week, these women compete in wedding-themed challenges, like writing vows and planning honeymoons, and each winner is rewarded with one cosmetic procedure while the remaining competitors vote someone off the show. The last bride standing gets her dream wedding, where she unveils her new look to her friends and family for the first time. Before the series began, each woman listed the work they wanted performed by Dr. Terry Dubrow, the plastic surgeon on the FOX television show THE SWAN. Some women are former pageant winners and only requested a few items, while others compiled a shopping list of procedures, including: acne treatment and scar removal; botox (forehead, between eyes); brow lift; breast augmentation/reduction; breast lift; ears pinned back; gum reduction; hair removal; laser skin resurfacing; liposuction (abdomen, arms, chin, cheeks, flanks, thighs, jowls, knees, thighs); mole removal; nose job; scar removal; stretch mark removal; teeth improvements (straightening, whitening, veneer replacement, bonding replacement); tummy tuck; upper lip filler/injection; varicose veins removal. The contestants are: Alexandra White, a 21-year-old customer-service rep from Atlanta, GA; Allyson Donovan, an unemployed 32-year-old from Crestwood, IL; Ashley Langford, a 25-year-old office manager from La Palma, CA; Cheyenne Aikens, a 21-year-old gym receptionist from Hamburg, NJ; Domnique Santoro, a 24-year-old bartender from Surfside, FL; Jamie Farnsworth, a 23-year-old receptionist from Canoga Park, CA; Janessa Wainwright, a 27-year-old technology consultant from Wayne, NJ; Jessica Slocum, a 30-year-old property manager from Virginia Beach, VA; Kristen Sciacca, a 21-year-old nanny from Orange County, CA; Lisa Marie N., a 29-year-old nurse practitioner from San Pedro, CA; Melissa Hooper, a 20-year-old student and Army reservist from Riverside, CA; and Netty Aranguren, a 23-year-old medical technician from Glendale, CA.
