Plot Synopsis

BOSE is a six-episode scripted series that chronicles the life of Spanish singer-songwriter Miguel Bose. From the time of his birth, Miguel Bose was destined for greatness, despite the rigid conventions imposed by his native country, Spain, in the 1960s. His father, Luis Miguel Dominguin, was a traditional and prominent figure in Spanish bullfighting, while his mother, Lucia Bose, was a sophisticated and modern Italian movie star. Bose was born blessed with his father's strong character, his mother's beauty and the rebelliousness and elegance of both. In 1968, Bose's parents' tumultuous relationship came to an end after 13 years when they decided to divorce, a scandal at the time for conservative Spain. Bose was just 11 and the divorce had a huge impact on him. It served as a catalyst to transform him into the rebellious and disruptive artist the world would meet a decade later. Surrounded by a halo of mystery, Bose has always been very private. BOSE breaks down the walls, revealing the singer-songwriter's strengths and weaknesses and giving audiences an intimate look at his life. Each episode focuses on a different Miguel Bose song and journeys to pivotal moments in the artist's life. The series' present-day timeline takes place during the promotion of his multi-platinum album Papito, a special moment for Miguel when he decides to make a long-delayed dream come true: to be a father. All six episodes of BOSE dropped on Thursday, December 1, 2022 on Paramount+.
