Plot Synopsis

BORDERLINER is a one-hour drama series that centers on Nikolai, a police detective who covers up a murder case to protect his family, but becomes trapped in a dangerous game on duty when his partner, Annniken, suspects foul play. While visiting his hometown, cop Nikolai investigates a local man's apparent suicide, but grows wary while questioning those last seen with him. Nikolai plants evidence to support the suicide theory, but later learns the real story behind Tommy's death. Surveillance footage points to a suspect. BORDERLINER had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire eight-episode first season.
