Plot Synopsis

Bookaboo is a world-famous rock puppy who tours the globe with his bandmates, Paws and Growler, playing drums to packed stadiums of adoring fans. Just one hitch. Bookaboo can't play without a story a day. Luckily for him, celebrity guests drop backstage on his Bookabus to share their favorite books and coax him back onstage. Each 30-minute episode features two celebrities, including: BONES actress Tamara Taylor & Bruce Greenwood; CASTLE actress Stana Katic & Michael Sheen; Selma Blair & Guillermo Diaz; Antonio Brown & Sarah Carter; Adam Copeland (The Edge) & Emmanuelle Chriqui; Chris Hadfield & Emily Van Camp; Hannah Simone & Patrick Chan; and Molly Parker & Rachelle LeFevre . Viewers can read along to illustrated books animated in this story time fun. Amazon released the first eight episodes on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

On Friday, December 30, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Amazon released "Bookaboo's Barkin' New Year's Eve," a half-hour special that features Paula Abdul and a whole host of Bookaboo's celebrity friends who come together to celebrate and countdown to midnight.
