Plot Synopsis

Hosted by VICE's Abdullah Saeed, BONG APPETIT is a half-hour series that explores the making and consumption of high-end cannabis-infused foods with different chefs and party guests in each episode. Throughout the first season, Abdullah and his team throw a series of elaborate cannabis dinner parties, inviting chefs like Wes Avila and Courtney McBroom to prepare multi-course weed-infused meals for guests including Dr. Dina, Open Mike Eagle and Lil Debbie. In the season opener, "Molecular Marijuana," Abdullah learns to make high-end hash and invites chef Marcel Vigneron to prepare cannabutter-basted beef cheek, weed-smoked tuna, and potleaf juice dippin dots.

On Wednesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/PT, Viceland premiered the the second season of BONG APPETIT. In the season opener, "High Thai Food," Abdullah throws a Thai dinner party with chef Louis Tikaram, who prepares a green curry with six cannabis infusions, CBD rice porridge, and terpene mango sticky rice.

Viceland premiered the third season of BONG APPETIT on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Ganja Game Day," Abdullah and the team work with chef Melissa D'Elia to put together an infused meal for former pro athletes who use cannabis in their fitness regimes.

Season 4 of BONG APPETIT premiered on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Viceland. In the season opener, "poT Chef," musician George Clinton brings the funk, while B Real, Vanessa and Miguel bring the weed; chefs Dale Talde, Janine Booth and Kevin Gillespie (TOP CHEF) bring infused meals in a clash of weed novices.

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, Viceland premieres "Cook Off Championship," the Season 4 finale of BONG APPETIT. The judges choose three chefs to return to the kitchen to fight for the crown; rapper N.O.R.E. and chef Michael Voltaggio guest judge.
