Plot Synopsis

Bob Belcher is a third-generation restaurateur who runs a family-owned burger joint with the help of his wife and their three kids. His wife Linda supports his dream through thick and thin -- but truth be told, she's getting a little sick of the thin. His kids are: Tina, a 13-year-old hopeless romantic with minimal social skills; Gene, the middle child who is an aspiring musician and a prankster who serves up more jokes than burgers; and Louise, the youngest who has an off-balance sense of humor and elevated energy level, making her a liability in the kitchen. Despite his greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally spotty service, Bob is convinced his burgers speak for themselves. Plus, has the best job in the world -- he gets to work with his family. Next door to Bob's is It's Your Funeral Home and Crematorium; down the street is Wonder Wharf, the oceanside amusement pier; a few blocks away is Wagstaff Middle School, where Bob and Linda's kids go to school; and across the street is Jimmy Pesto's Pizzeria, Bob's Burgers' main competition. Season 3 features the guest voices of Kevin Kline, Zach Galifianakis, Nick Offerman, Jeffrey Tambor, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Megan Mullally and Sarah and Laura Silverman. Plus, the 2012-2013 season includes holiday episodes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Season 4 of BOB'S BURGERS premiered on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 8:30pm ET/PT on Fox. In the show's fourth season, Bob subs as a home-economics teacher at the kids' school, Linda takes flying lessons, the family creates a local Super Bowl commercial for the restaurant, Bob gets in a war with some magicians, the kids set a trap for Santa, Tina crashes a Bat Mitzvah and Bob saves the entire town. The fourth season also features these guest voices: Molly Shannon, Bobcat Goldthwait, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, Kevin Kline, Megan Mullally, Ken Jeong, Rob Huebel, John Michael Higgins, Will Forte, Paul F. Tompkins, Sarah and Laura Silverman, and Zach Galifianakis. Season 5 premiered on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 7:30pm ET/PT on FOX. In the season opener, "Work Hard or Die Trying, Girl," Gene decides to stage an underground show with the help of Louise when his DIE HARD-inspired musical doesn't get picked for the school's fall performance. But Wagstaff Middle School families begin to feud when they learn that Eugene has planned his show on the very same night as Courtney's school-sanctioned WORKING GIRL-inspired musical...featuring Tina. Season 6 of BOB'S BURGERS premiered on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 7:30pm ET/PT on FOX. In the season opener, "Sliding Bobs," Bob notices that he has started to lose his hair. In a wave of nostalgia, Linda reminisces about Bob's mustache and how it made her fall for him years ago. Meanwhile, the kids tell their own versions of the story of how their parents met. Season 7 of BOB'S BURGERS premiered on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 7:30pm ET/PT on FOX, with guest star Amy Schumer providing the voice of Young Lady. In the season opener, "Flu-ouise," when the youngest Belcher comes down with an epic case of the flu, Linda has a mishap as she tries to deliver Louise's favorite toy to her daughter's bedside. After Louise vows that she will never forgive her family for their mistake, she falls into a wild fever dream filled with familiar faces, zany musical numbers and a crazy adventure. Season 8 of BOB'S BURGERS premiered on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 7:30pm ET/PT on FOX. In the season opener, "Brunchsquatch," Bob's Burgers begins serving brunch to compete with Jimmy Pesto, but it quickly turns to chaos. Meanwhile, Tina, Gene and Louise decide to help Mr. Fischoeder's brother hide from him. This episode showcases animation inspired by fan-created artwork. The upcoming season also features its annual holiday-themed episodes and all-new and returning guest voices, including Adam Driver, Fred Savage and Maria Bamford.
On Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 7:30pm and 9:30pm ET/PT, FOX premiered Season 8's final two new episodes:

"Mission Impos-slug-ble" (7:30pm): When Louise's collection of Burobu cards are taken away from her at school, she comes up with a complicated plan to get them back.

"Something Old, Something New, Something Bob Caters for You" (9:30pm): When Bob begins to wonder if staying in the restaurant business is worth the effort, he is asked to cater for a wedding, but the event's plans go awry.

Seven days earlier -- on Monday, May 14 -- FOX announced BOB'S BURGERS will return for its ninth season this Fall, airing Sundays at 8:30pm. The 2018-2019 season includes BOB'S BURGERS' 150th episode.
