Plot Synopsis

THE BIG TIP is a half-hour reality series that follows Rachael Ray and Rossi Morreale, as they travel across the United States to celebrate overachieving food-service professionals who are underappreciated. In each 30-minute episode, Rachael and Rossi journey to a different American town, where they meet three deserving waiters and waitresses who serve not only their customers, but their communities as well. The duo get to know each individual, including their passions and good deeds, and give them life-changing tips -- but only one of the three gets the show's big tip. On Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 10-11pm ET/PT, Food Network broadcast back-to-back episodes of THE BIG TIP as a sneak preview of this series, which will officially premiere fall 2014. In the first episode, Rachael and Rossi spent time with: a foster mom who's studying for the ministry; an exceptional waitress who volunteers her time with children and the homeless; and a career waitress who spends every dime she makes on her dog rescue. Then, in the night's second episode, Rachael and Rossi met: a single mom and volunteer firefighter; a hardworking young mind with big dreams; and an inspiring dancing grandma.
