Plot Synopsis

THE BIG CONN is a four-part documentary series that tells the true story of the larger-than-life attorney, Eric C. Conn, who defrauded the government over half a billion dollars in the largest Social Security fraud case in history. All four episodes dropped on Friday, May 6, 2022 on Apple TV+:

"Mr. Social Security": Eric C. Conn, the biggest social security lawyer in eastern Kentucky, is threatened when a reporter starts looking into his professional connections.

"United We Stand, Divided We Fall": As the press coverage goes public, investigators collect evidence against Eric and Judge Daugherty. The whistleblowers are pressured.

"Here Today, Gone Tomorrow": A new US attorney begins working the case. Things take a dark turn when several of Eric's former clients share their experiences.

"I Never Left": Eric leads the government on a wild goose chase. The fallout from the fraud takes its toll on a struggling Kentucky community.
