Plot Synopsis

BEYOND SCARED STRAIGHT: EXTREME TEENS is a series of enhanced episodes from BEYOND SCARED, including brand-new footage and interviews with the participants involved in the original episode. Each episode of BEYOND SCARED STRAIGHT focuses on a different prison program in the United States, following four or five at-risk teens as they attend the program and experience their intensive one-day in-prison session. The program then follows up with them one-month later to see the lasting impressions the program has left on them. The series opener of EXTREME TEENS focuses on Boston teens, fresh from the hood, who face rival gang members whose local loyalties persist behind bars, when they tour the Suffolk County Jail in Massachusetts.
