Plot Synopsis

Answering the call from a desperate bar-restaurant employee, Eddie Russell arrives at the establishment, learns about its clientele, tastes what they serve in the bar, and then devises a new menu with innovative pub grub that won't break the budget. Plus, he inspires the staff and owners, while also giving the space a new focus. In each 30-minute episode of BELLY UP, Eddie makes over a different eatery, including: The Cork Neighborhood Bistro (North Charleston, SC); Cappy's Cafe (Philadelphia, PA); The Hideaway West (Phoenix, AZ); The Pickle Barrel (Chattanooga, TN); The Foggy Notion (Portland, OR); and The Thirsty Fish (Seattle, WA). Cooking Channel aired the pilot episode on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, and then ten months later broadcast the series premiere on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
