Plot Synopsis

This series is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series. A werewolf (Josh), a vampire (Aidan) and a ghost (Sally) are roommates living in modern-day Boston. These three twenty-somethings struggle to hide their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives and trying to be human. Season 3, which premiered on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 9pm ET, picked up 15 months after the events of the previous season's finale, which ended with Aidan being buried alive as punishment from vampire leader Mother; Sally, lost in a state of limbo; and Josh's plot to kill his werewolf maker endangered his werewolf girlfriend, Nora. Season 4, which premiered on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Syfy, picked up four month's after the Season 3 finale. Aidan and Nora struggled to save Josh, who was trapped in his wolf form. At the same time, an unbelievable visitor collided with Aidan, forcing him to make impossible choices between people he loves the most. Meanwhile, Sally, having been dragged down into her death spot by Witch Donna, found herself trapped and at the mercy of her foe, but Sally's newly imbued magical powers could change everything.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, Syfy announced that it canceled BEING HUMAN, with Season 4 being the show's last season. Five weeks later on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, Syfy broadcast the series finale, "There Goes the Neighborhood, Part III," as Sally makes a major sacrifice to keep her vision of Aidan killing Josh from coming true. Meanwhile, Aidan fights to destroy the evil spirit, and Josh and Nora think carefully about their future.
