Plot Synopsis

BEFORE I DIE is a one-hour docuseries that exposes the truth behind the individuals who had the strength and courage in their final moments to catch their own killer. This three-part series re-tells the shocking events leading to the crucial piece of evidence that the victim was able to somehow communicate with their dying breath, helping to solve their own murder.

In the series opener, "In the Line of Duty" (December 15, 2019 at 9pm), Deputy Floyd Moore is locking up on January 28, 1986 when he sees a man acting suspiciously. Floyd calls for back-up, which arrives in 2 mins -- but is too late. Floyd is shot in the head, and the man's ID is found hidden in Floyd's pocket. The hunt is on to catch the killer.

The second installment, "Message from the Grave" (December 22, 2019 at 9pm), centers on Sharon Denson, who is found shot seven time and severely burnt on June 23, 2008. Her courage and strength in escaping the building and giving a dying declaration -- while she still could -- ultimately lead to her murderer being caught and convicted.

In the finale, "Amber Alert" (December 29, 2019 at 9pm), Amanda Mangas is found with a gunshot wound to her chest, but before dying, she tells police that her baby son has been kidnapped, leading to a three-state Amber Alert in the hunt to save him.
