Plot Synopsis

THE BABY WAIT explores the unique process of open adoption, documenting the biological mother's life as she adjusts without the baby she carried for nine months, as well as following the adoptive parents who lovingly care for their newborn. But these new parents -- whether they are gay couples, straight couples or single parents -- must sometimes deal with extra stress since some states allow the birth mother up to 30 days to change her mind about giving up her baby. Logo aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 11pm ET, and didn't show the official series premiere until Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10pm ET.
