Plot Synopsis

ANIMALS GONE WILD is a one-hour documentary series that chronicles how rough, rowdy, and lawless the animal kingdom can be -- from the mysterious depths of the deep blue sea to the jungle's untamed edge. Whether it's out-of-bounds behavior or savage instincts run amok, when animals act out they're a force to be reckoned with. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT. On Monday, April 20, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, ANIMALS GONE WILD returned for its second season on Nat Geo Wild in the United States. In the season opener, "Cheating Death," an elephant has a run-in with a carload of tourists, a lion shows his natural instincts can't be tamed, and a tiny Chihuahua takes on armed robbers.

Season 3 of ANIMALS GONE WILD premiered in the United States on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Nat Geo Wild. In the season opener, "Angry Giants," nature's wildest -- from tiny heroes to giant marauders -- show that each triumph of survival is a treacherous one, as a French bulldog chases off three black bears in one risky standoff; a kitten finds itself in the middle of heavy traffic; and a sea lion with major stamina shows that being out of water won't necessarily save it.
