Plot Synopsis

With footage of animals in their natural habitats along with computer graphics, 3D animations, scientific data, and expert analysis, this half-hour syndicated series (check local listings) explores animal behavior using engineering, biomechanics, and biology. This series seeks to answer questions like: Why can cheetahs run so fast?; How can eagles track their prey during flight?; and many more 'How' and 'Why' queries about animals.

On Saturday, September 13, 2014, this series returned for a new season with a new title, XPLORATION ANIMAL SCIENCE. The Season 3 premiere focused on creatures of South America including the jaguar and the Galapagos tortoise. XPLORATION ANIMAL SCIENCE airs each weekend (check local listings) as part of "Xploration Station," a two-hour syndicated block airing on Fox stations and other station groups throughout the United States.
