Plot Synopsis

Created and executive-produced by Matt Braly, AMPHIBIA is a "frog-out-of-water" animated comedy series that chronicles the adventures of 13-year-old Anne Boonchuy, who is magically transported to the fantastical world of Amphibia, a rural marshland full of frog people. There she meets an excitable young frog named Sprig Plantar, his unpredictable sister Polly and overprotective grandpa Hop Pop. With Sprig's help, Anne transforms into a hero and discover the first true friendship of her life.

The sophomore season of AMPHIBIA premiered on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 8:20pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. In the new season, Anne and the Plantars are on a quest to unlock the mysteries of the music box as they leave the cozy confines of Wartwood for the distant city of Newtopia. On their journey, they visit exotic new locations, uncover hidden secrets and experience unexpected reunions as they continue to search for a way to get Anne home. The new season includes an homage to Disney's hit GRAVITY FALLS, featuring guest voices from the series' creator/executive producer Alex Hirsch. Season 2 guest voices include: Kermit the Frog; Jenifer Lewis; George Takei; Kristen Schaal; Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery; Tress MacNeille; Marlow Barkley, Mia Allan and Ella Allan; Haley Tju; Keith David; Susan Egan; and Flula Borg.
