Plot Synopsis

Nationally broadcast each year since 2016, AMERICA SALUTES YOU is a benefit concert that raises funds for a range of high impact veteran charities while also increasing domestic and foreign awareness to mental health issues.

The inaugural concert took place on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago. Performers included pop legend Cyndi Lauper, singer/songwriter extraordinaire Gavin McGraw, Andra Day, country music legend Wanda Jackson, rapper Hoodie Allen, Gospel Grammy winner CeCe Winans, world-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs. The money raised by the concert was granted by the McCormick Foundation to several top non-profits serving military, veterans and their families such as: Givean Hour, ThanksUSA, Easter Seals Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services, the Bob Woodruff Foundationand Honor Flights. AMERICA SALUTES YOU streamed live on LiveStream, Military.com and TV Worldwide, and premiered nationally on linear television on Tribune Broadcasting and Sinclair Broadcast Group stations over Thanksgiving weekend

In 2017, America Salutes You and Wall Street Rocks joined forces for a benefit concert AMERICA SALUTES YOU AND WALL STREET ROCKS PRESENTS: GUITAR LEGENDS FOR HEROES CONCERT dedicated to our heroes. In addition to creating national recognition as a "thank you" to military, veterans and their loved ones, this event raised funds for the high impact charities that support them. Co-hosted by Trace Adkins and Eddie Trunk, the all-star event took place at Terminal 5 on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in New York City, featuring special performances from Sam Moore, Richie Sambora and Orianthi, Dave Navarro, Billy Gibbons, Joe Don Rooney, Nancy Wilson and Liv Warfield, Lindsay Ell and Robert Randolph. Portions of ticket proceeds will go to charities including include Headstrong, Psych Armor, The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Hope For The Warriors and Warrior Canine Connection, and Operation Finally Home. The special debuted nationally on Tribune Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Hearst Television, Graham Media Group, Gray and ion TELEVISION stations on Saturday, December 23 -- as early as 1pm in some cities -- or Sunday, December 24. (Check local listings.) This event had its cable TV premiere on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on AXS TV.

The third in a serious of nationally-broadcast concerts benefiting brain and mental awareness charities was called AMERICA SALUTES YOU PRESENTS GUITAR LEGENDS II, which was held at the Novo Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Performers included world-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns, Billy Gibbons, Laurence Juber, Joe Bonamassa, Don Felder, Sammy Hagar, Robby Krieger, Dave Navarro, Orianthi, Emily Estefan, and others. A round-table with experts in the field of brain wellness and mental health to discuss the latest advances in treatments and challenges to find solutions for a range of problems from PTSD for veterans and first responders to those facing depression and Alzheimer's were also be featured. The event streamed globally via social media platforms Facebook, Youtube and Instagram, and later had its linear television premiere on AXS TV on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

AMERICA SALUTES YOU PRESENTS GUITAR LEGENDS 3 is a one-hour special that premiered on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Billy Gibbons hosts the benefit concert and is joined by guitar legends including George Thorogood, Warren Haynes, Nancy Wilson, Steve Lukather, Charlie Starr, and Ellis Hall. Plus, world-renowned drummer Kenny Aronoff leads an All-Star band. This is the first time the guitar-fueled event is in San Diego. This concert took place on November 24 as part of the Wonderfront Music Festival in Embarcadero Park in San Diego that included performances by Migos, Miguel, Ben Harper and local favorite Slightly Stoopid. No Greater Sacrifice, the LA Fire Department Foundation, the Entertainment Industries Council and Patriotic Service Dog Foundation are among the charities benefitting from the show.

On Monday, November 9, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT, CMT premiered AMERICA SALUTES YOU PRESENTS GUITAR LEGENDS 4. This special is broadcast and streamed on multiple networks the week of Veterans Day (November 11, 2020). All four major networks' platforms are participating this year: Fox broadcast stations, ABC digital broadcast stations(Localish), ViacomCBS's CMT and MTV Classic, along with cable channels AXS, Circle TV, RFDTV, and via the Armed Forces Network and the benefit concert will also be streamed on YouTube, Amazon, Fox Nation, Peacock, PLUTO, Apple Music. This year's star-studded event will feature returning host Billy Gibbons, and feature music greats Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osborne, Big and Rich, Tedeschi/Trucks, Mike Love, Kenny Loggins, Julio Iglesias Jr., Keb' Mo', The Bacon Brothers, Lindsay Ell, and Larkin Poe. These artists, who are donating their time, taped their performances at various locations across the country from LA and New York, to Nashville and Miami.

AMERICA SALUTES YOU PRESENTS: CONCERT FOR GRATITUDE, hosted by Chrissy Metz and Dustin Lynch, is a concert that honored America's veterans and first responders, and supporting the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Mental Wellness Campaign. Taped at the Fisher Center at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, on on December 15, 2023, the event debuted on TV as a one-hour special on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Actor Gary Sinise was given a Lifetime Achievement Award for his humanitarian work. Performers include: Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, who sang the National Anthem; Megan Moroney ("I'm Not Pretty"; "Tennessee Orange"); Chasing DaVinci; host Dustin Lynch ("Small Town Boy"; "Cowboys and Angels"); host Chrissy Metz ("Landslide" a Fleetwood Mac cover); War Hippies ("Make It Out Alive"); Lecrae; Clint Black ("America [Still In Love With You]"; "Living In The USA"); Charles Esten; Alana Springsteen; Dee Messina ("Heads Carolina, Tails California"); and Lee Greenwood ("God Bless The U.S.A.").
