Plot Synopsis

Explorer and former British Royal Marine, Bruce Parry, journeys 6,000 kilometers from the Amazon's source in the Peruvian Andes to it's vast mouth on Brazil's Atlantic Coast. As he travels by foot, light aircraft and boat, he meets and lives with tribes, cocoa growers, loggers and illegal miners. For its premiere in the United States, Discovery aired the program as "Outlaw Amazon," starting on January 7, 2010.
