Plot Synopsis

To save the world from destruction and solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of his father, 16-year-old Cameron Turner uncovers clues about a conspiracy hidden in the animated pages of a comic book series created by his dad. Cameron is joined on his journey by his best friend Boris Walleskya, childhood friend Lucy Condon and biggest rival Pierce Rockwell. Even when showing off and landing a 360 flip, Cameron doesn't stand out that much from the crowd, and since his dad, famed astronaut/comic book artist Brady Turner, disappeared, it's just seemed like Cameron doesn't care -- but he really does. Unlike Cameron, his best friend Boris, a downtown skater kid with a punk-rock haircut, definitely stands out in a crowd. Boris thinks science fiction is man's attempt to understand the things in life that are beyond the understanding of science or reason, and he's a huge fan of Brady's work. Growing up, Cameron and Lucy always had a connection, as if they were both in on some kind of inside joke, but Lucy has changed a lot since she got back from boarding school. Now, Lucy is reconnecting with Cameron. Even though she's not a constant part of the team the way Boris is, she does often conveniently step in to get Cameron out of a jam. Pierce is Cameron's main rival in school and in the skate park, and he never misses an opportunity to pick on Boris or go head-to-head with Cameron.
