Plot Synopsis

ALI G REZURECTION includes every episode of DA ALI G SHOW with new, original introductions starring Sacha Baron Cohen, along with the English episodes of DA ALI G SHOW that never aired on American television and THE BEST OF ALI G. In DA ALI G SHOW, Baron Cohen portrayed three different characters who traveled across the United States interviewing and taunting people about American culture. The main character, Ali G, is a white wannabe rap star who sees himself as a journalist -- and talks with people like Sam Donaldson about Nixon's "Waterworld" crisis -- despite being dressed in his trademark yellow track suit, wraparound glasses and pullover hat. His two other alter egos -- Borat, a naive TV reporter from Kazakhstan, and Bruno, a campy Austrian fashion and style journalist -- later starred in their own popular theatrical films.

On Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:30pm ET/PT, FXX aired the Season 2 premiere of ALI G REZURECTION. In the season opener, "FBI," Ali G learns how the FBI keeps America safe. Also, Borat visits the English Countryside to try hunting. Later in the season, Ali G sits down with James Lipton (Sep 10), James Ziglar (Sep 17), Professor Sue Lees (Sep 24), C. Everett Koop (Oct 1), and more.
