Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by series star Hilary Swank and series creator Tom McCarthy, ALASKA DAILY is a one-hour drama series that centers on Eileen Fitzgerald, a fiercely talented and award-winning investigative journalist, who leaves her high-profile New York life behind after a fall from grace to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage on a journey to find both personal and professional redemption.

After a 15-week break, ALASKA DAILY returned with new episodes on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "Enemy of the People," the stakes are high when Concerned Citizen targets Eileen at gunpoint and takes her hostage in the newsroom. As the clock ticks, the team races to help before it's too late.
