Plot Synopsis

AFRICA'S PREDATOR ZONES is a three-part series that chronicles Africa's theaters of war, revealing the new and clever tactics big cats and big crocs use to catch their prey while examining the geographical factors which make these areas so reliable in producing such compelling predatory behavior. The first episode, "Coliseum," highlights lions, hyenas, leopards, as there three hunting zones converge in one area known as the coliseum of the wild: Savute. In Episode 2, "Trenches," some of the largest crocodiles on Earth plot their hunting strategies when a massive migration passes through two East African rivers. In "Open Ground," big cats of the Serengeti adjust their hunting techniques based on the demands of the area's diverse terrain.
