Plot Synopsis

Sonia hosts a radio call-in show that empowers women, always encouraging them to "be an island." On the opposite end of the spectrum, Nick hosts a bachelor lifestyle radio show called "The Man Cave." He encourages men to always leave their options open. Sonia, naturally, detests his show. When these two polar opposite Chicago radio personalities are assigned to co-host a talk show, their conflicting approaches to love and relationships create a battle of the sexes. Though the independent woman and the defiant bachelor spar on air, the common bond of having been hurt in relationships makes them friends in their personal lives. When Nick tries to help Sonia win her ex-fiance back, however, both begin to realize that their friendly feelings may have grown into something more. As they begin to let their emotional guards down, they must decide if their true love is real or just full of hot air.
