Plot Synopsis
During the winter of 1944, in the Hurtgen Forest of Western Germany, an emotionally and physically exhausted American private is promoted against his will and ordered to lead a squad of inexperienced recruits. As thousand of soldiers are led to the slaughter he and his men must try and stay alive during one of the most senseless battles of World War II which claimed the lives of 24,000 U.S soldiers.
