Plot Synopsis

Three fictional stories based on objects left at the Vietnam Memorial. ''The Pencil Holder''- A strict father in the military learns the true meaning of a father/son relationship after his young son befriends a dying soldier. ''The Badge''- Before a young man goes off to Vietnam his grandmother gives him a family heirloom, a silver badge, as inspiration and hope for a safe return. He heroically loses his life in an attempt to save his platoon. ''The Player''- A cynical soldier leans a life lesson after he meets another soldier on his third tour of duty who selflessly wants to help his squad get home safely.
