Plot Synopsis
A young boy and his older brother, who, having recently lost their father, spend a summer in their family's lakeside home with their mother. When a retired black doctor returns to the lily- white Georgia community of his boyhood and befriends the younger boy, the two brothers suddenly find themselves set against one another as the town's racist past flares up once again.
