Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Melissa Senate. A witty young assistant editor vies for a promotion by editing a soap opera star's memoirs. Unfortunately, the beautiful actress happens to be her former high school nemesis. Also she needs a date for her cousins wedding. To satisfy her nagging aunt and impress the soap diva she makes up the perfect boyfriend. With only a few weeks left before the nuptials, she searches madly for a date while frantically attempting to turn out a best seller.
