Plot Synopsis
A 16 year-old girl tries desperately to fit in at school and works hard at trying to please others, while negating her own feelings. She suppresses her self-loathing so deeply that her only emotional release is to secretly cut and burn her body. After a series of dangerous self-injury incidents, she agrees to see a shrink, who seems to understand her torment. With the help of the good doctor she slowly begins to overcome her illness and learns how to express her true feelings.
